BNL Round 8: Marlins keep a leadership position

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Marlins as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Marlins defeated bottom-ranked Warriors in Kwazulu 74-60. Marlins forced 23 Warriors turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Bandile Nsele (187-91) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds and Luyanda Mazeka (-0) who added 17 points during the contest. Job Mashwabathi (195) responded with 15 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 3 other teams. Warriors at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost.
